Directions
Events are held at the Boston Billiard Club, 126 Brookline Avenue, Boston. The Boston Billiard Club no longer provides parking in the rear of the building. Instead, try parking on Brookline or on one of the various side streets. After 6pm and on Sundays, you do not need to feed the parking meters. There is parking for a flat rate of $5 (total, not hourly) after 4pm in the Trilogy Garage (180 Brookline Avenue); just move your car before 8am. The Club is also a short walk from two Green Line T-stops: the Kenmore T-stop, on Commonwealth Avenue, and the Fenway T-stop, on Park Avenue. Take the Jamaicaway to the Riverway. Turn right onto Brookline Avenue from the Riverway (at the stoplight); Drive about 1 mile. There are non-metered spots on Burlington Ave and metered (free after 6pm) spots on Brookline and Fullerton. Driving from Cambridge/Somerville:
Take Prospect Street south towards Central Square, heading towards the Charles River. Go straight through Central Square onto Western Avenue (one way heading towards the river). Turn left onto Memorial Drive (do not cross the Charles River). Stay on Memorial Drive, past River Street (one-way heading into Cambridge). In about 1/2 mile, bear right to enter the traffic circle for the BU Bridge. Enter the traffic circle and take the first exit right to cross over the BU Bridge. At the end of the bridge, cross Commonwealth Avenue. Bear left onto Mountfort Street (follow signs for Rt 2). Stay on Mountfort through one stoplight. The road bears right onto Park Drive. Stay on Park, cross Beacon Street. The road forces you to bear right--aim for the middle lanes to cross the Riverway and head onto Fenway (as if heading towards the Museum of Fine Arts). You will immediately come to a stoplight - get in the left-most lane. Turn hard left at the stoplight onto Brookline Avenue (once on Brookline the Citgo sign will be directly ahead of you). From Newton Center:
Head East on Beacon Street, approx. 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Hammond Street. After approx. 1 mile, turn left onto Boylston Street (Rt. 9 East). Follow Boylston/Rt 9 East approx. 2.5 miles. When you see High Street on your right, Boylston becomes Washington Street. Follow Washington Street approx 1/10th mile and turn left onto Brookline Avenue. Follow Brookline Ave for approx 1.2 miles. Take 93 South to Exit 26 Storrow Drive/N. Station. Bear left onto Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive then bear left onto the Kenmore Square/Fenway (US-1 South) ramp. Bear right at end of ramp; turn right onto Beacon Street. Detail map Follow Beacon Street for 2/10th of a mile; bear left at intersection of Beacon, Commonwealth, and Brookline Avenue, crossing over Commonwealth Avenue and making a left onto Brookline Avenue (placing Uno's pizzeria on your right). Walking from the Fenway T-stop (Green Line D-train):
Walk southeast along the Riverway to Park Drive (HINT: the Landmark Center, formerly the Sears tower, will be on your left). Turn sharp left onto Brookline Avenue (you'll be heading NE now). The Boston Billiard Club is on your right just a few blocks up. Top
Walking from the Kenmore T-stop (Green Line trains):
Head west up Commonwealth Avenue. Turn left onto Brookline Avenue (you'll see Uno's Pizza on the corner). Walk southwest along Brookline avenue, crossing over the Mass Pike. Pass Landsdowne Street & Fenway Park on your left; pass Yawkey Way on your left and the Boston Billiard Club is on your left in the next block. Top
